So many months have passed in which we could not sit together for the occasional after-work drink as usual. No Christmas party, no celebrating successes, not even a proper toast to birthdays as a team because of corona. Hence, the news was all the merrier that in mid-June we would pack away our masks and meet up in the park with colleagues for a picnic and finally engage in longer conversations. Equipped with blankets, sunshades, and a picnic basket – filled with goodies from the new café in the Sonnwendviertel called Kaffeesatz – five-person teams could get better acquainted with one another and their projects at the park quiz. And naturally in the chats thereafter, too, as the sun slowly set on the horizon. It was an incredibly important event for us after such a long time of keeping our distance.
