Both are longstanding team leads in the company. Björn Haunschmid-Wakolbinger has been responsible for the residential division in our office since years and recently completed the new Chemistry Lab on the IST Austria Campus in his role as project manager. Corinna Toell has headed major projects at Franz&Sue, amongst others the Collections and Research Centre of the Tyrolean State Museums and currently the Montanuni Leoben Study Centre.

»Already as a team lead, it was always important to me that there is a lively exchange of knowledge within the office and that sustainable design and building are a top priority. I will emphasize these principles as a Franz&Sue partner and look forward to an exciting time in which I will actively participate in shaping the future development of the office.«

At Franz&Sue we are convinced that architecture can turn out really great when different points of view and experiences combine into one and the responsibilities of the management team are shared. Given the positive evolution of the company – the Franz&Sue team has doubled in the past two years and now consists of more than 100 members – expanding the team to include new partners was a logical step. Corinna Toell and Björn Haunschmid-Wakolbinger have played vital roles in the successful growth of Franz&Sue for many years now and are firmly established in the company.

»As a part of the management team, my ambition is to further enhance our identity and position in the architectural world. Promoting in-house advanced training will also be one of my key focuses.«
